Black Moon Press is actively seeking submissions for its upcoming launch.

We are a boutique publisher of Horror and Dark Fantasy works. Specifically, we are interested in the following sub-categories: Dark Fantasy, General Horror, Occult, Psychological/Thriller, Supernatural, and Urban Fantasy. While we are primarily a Horror/Dark Fantasy epublisher, we will consider select erotica that flows in the same vein

Eventually, Black Moon Press's offerings will include short stories and anthologies. However, our primary focus and first releases will be full-length novels of 50,000 words or greater.

Please send a query letter, complete synopsis (2 to 5 pages) including resolution, the first three chapters, and the last chapter (and epilogue where relevant) to submissions@blackmoonpress.com. We are an epublishing house. All our work is done electronically. We do not accept paper submissions.

Please make sure your work has been completely self-edited. We strongly recommend having frank and brutally honest critique partners look at it. Your work should be free of typos and grammatical errors. Submission must be an attachment, not within the body of an email. Our submission requirements are:

• .rtf (Rich Text File) or .doc (Word) format
• Fonts: Times New Roman 12pt or Arial 11pt
• 1 inch margins
• Line Spacing at 1.5 or 2
• Page break for each new chapter
• Justify Body Text: full

Black Moon Press is a royalty paying ebook company and offers 35% for a single-author ebook. Our contract requests full rights to the work and is available for revew upon acceptance of your submission. We are NOT a vanity publisher and charge no fees for editing and publishing your work.
